BUHARI VISIT THE NIGER DELTA AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.


The Nigeria President Buhari should visit  Ugborodo host to Chevron  crude oil Export terminal/EGTL gas plant, Ogulagha host to Shell Forcados Crude Oil Export terminal/tank farm, Bonny Island host to Shell Bonny Crude Oil Export terminal/NLNG gas terminal, Brass host to Agip/ENI export terminal, Ibeno host to ExxonMobil Qua Iboe crude export terminal. These are just the export terminals not talking about the numerous oil and gas flowstations and the oil Wells that criss cross the length and breadth of the Niger delta.
Mr. President come and see for yourself what the host communities are going through in the hands of Nigeria government and the multinationals.

    1. Niger Delta is Niger Delta, not Biafra or an extension of it. The self determination struggle for Niger Delta predates the BIAFRAN struggle.
      Let's not confuse the creation of Eastern Region by colonial forces for the Niger Delta and Biafra.
      If the struggle for Biafra is altruistic, then the self determination struggle of the Niger Delta people, as a matter of fact, must be respected!

  5. The federal government should stop given money to the so called Elders and stakeholders of Niger Delta because they are not being sincere to the poor masses of the area. They are only after their own pockets. Let the federal government use reputable companies like Julius Berger RCC and other multinational companies to develop the area and pay them directly either cash or in kind (crude oil). With this some of the agitation will be eliminated and peace will reign in the area

The dissolution of Nigeria or re-structuring of the country to true federalism where states control their own resources is the way to destabilize the plans of the fulanis.   17. I see that some of us are myopic and hypnotized. The NORTH and their Yoruba supporters have preached this deceit of oh, what has the Niger Delta people (governors, politicians, contractors or even Amnesty payment recipients) done to develop the Niger Delta?
    Let me ask those myopic minds, how was ABUJA developed? If Abuja can be developed as sit of power for the NORTHERNERS, why can't the NIGER DELTA where all the wealth come from not be developed?

    Again, why has the FEDERAL BUDGET not delivered any development, progress and good life to the people of NIGERIA in general?
    The NORTHERNERS have turned NIGERIA to an individualistic country where the interest of a few or a group is greater than the general good.

    Now, the INJUSTICE of the NORTHERNERS where they have used the instrument of government to gain control of the marine, oil & gas wealth of the NIGER DELTA, where most of the oil blocks & wells have been given to individuals of the NORTH and some to individuals of the WEST to gain support of the YORUBAS is the main reason for the failure of NIGERIA.
    This NORTHERN CONSPIRACY is the foundation for CORRUPTION in NIGERIA today. It's the foundation for the mentality of government is no man's business so just collect your own when you can.

    This INJUSTICE is the reason why those in position of power/leadership in the NIGE DELTA who knows and sees the enormous wealth of the NIGER DELTA in the possession of NORTHERNERS and a few YORUBAS follow suit to grab whatever allocation that comes to the NIGER DELTA.
    Can anyone tell me how governors and people in positions from other regions of NIGERIA are different from those of the NIGER DELTA?
    Again, why is it only DANGOTE a NORTHERNER that has now been allowed to build refinery in LAGOS and not in the NIGER DELTA?

    THE ONLY THING THAT CAN SAVE ONE NIGERIA IS TRUE FISCAL FEDERALISM AND RESOURCE CONTROL.
    THE NORTHERNERS HAVE DESTROYED THE FOUNDATION THAT CAN BE USED TO BUILD NIGERIA

  21. The NORTH HAS OUT SMARTED THE NIGER DELTA over the PETROLEUM INDUSTRY BILL (PIB). PIB is dead and buried, why? Because DANGOTE a NORTHERNER is now building a GIGANTIC PRIVATE REFINERY AND FERTILIZER PLANT IN LAGOS. The CRUDE OIL AND GAS for THE REFINERY would be PUMPED FROM THE NIGER DELTA TO LAGOS.
    The PETROLEUM INDUSTRY BILL (PIB) was meant to open up THE DOWNSTREAM SECTOR OF THE OIL & GAS INDUSTRY in the NIGER DELTA through building of REFINERIES AND ALLIED OIL AND GAS ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES to drive economic activities in the region. But for so many years the NORTH have kicked against allowing the PIB to SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY.
    In line with their agenda of DEPRIVING the NIGER DELTA REGION AND PEOPLE of access to and benefit of the oil & gas wealth, they have now used DANGOTE TO KILL the PIB BILL by conniving with the YORUBAS for this GIGANTIC REFINERY to be built in LAGOS.

    Why LAGOS? Who would be the beneficiaries of this project? How does the NIGER DELTA PEOPLE benefit from this project in terms of employment, contracting and the likes?
    THE NORTHERNERS CALL LAGOS THE NEUTRAL GROUND for marginalizing the NIGER DELTA. ALL IMPORTATION OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS COME TO LAGOS, ALL IMPORTS COMES TO LAGOS. PORTS IN THE NIGER DELTA ARE COMATOS, WHY? THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA MUST BE SUBDUED AND PREVENTED FROM HAVING MAJOR ACCESS TO THE MARINE, OIL & GAS WEALTH.
    What they do is to flood NIGER DELTA with SOLDIERS. WHY FLOOD NIGER DELTA WITH SOLDIERS IF NIGERIA(GOVT OF NORTHERNERS) are doing the right thing?
    THIS INJUSTICE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Here is DANGOTE's statement about this project:
    ''Our target is that in the next five years or so from now, we hope and we believe that half of Nigeria’s crude will be refined and exported rather than just exporting crude to go and create jobs elsewhere,” Mr. Dangote said.     DANGOTE said the project would benefit local communities as at LEAST 65% of people in the catchment area would be employed. IS THIS WHAT IS OBTAINABLE WITH THE OIL COMPANIES IN THE NIGER DELTA? Can you imagine what the impact of this refinery would have been if it was built in the NIGER DELTA. This 65% people, are they going to be from the NIGER DELTA?
    WILL YOU BE SURPRISE IF DANGOTE BECOMES THE WORLD'S RICHEST MAN?
